Professional experience

Dan Steppick has spent his legal career practicing civil litigation in virtually every corner of the State of Texas.  He has prioritized his representation of product manufacturers, oil field services companies, design professionals, construction contractors, employers, insureds and insurers.  Mr. Steppick has taken cases from inception through trial and appeal.  He has represented clients in multiple claims for death and catastrophic personal injury, as well as business claims for large monetary and injunctive relief.

Prior to law school, Mr. Steppick spent six years in management with a national warehousing corporation, giving him a first-hand business perspective.  Following law school, Mr. Steppick was a briefing attorney to the Honorable Francis Maloney, Fifth District Court of Appeals at Dallas.

From 1995 to 2007, Mr. Steppick practiced in the litigation section of Shannon,Gracey, Ratliff & Miller, L.L.P., a prestigious litigation firm in Fort Worth.  Mr. Steppick is a shareholder of Shipman Steppick and continues the practice of civil litigation in the North Texas area.
